Cemeteries
The Marlborough District Council administers eight cemeteries
throughout the district: Fairhall, Omaka, Tuamarina, Picton,
Havelock, Seddon, Ward and Mahakipawa.

The Council maintains records for these cemeteries
on a database at their office.

Cemeteries in the area NOT administered by the council include:
Kaituna, Wairau Valley, Upper Wairau/Renwick, Rai Valley,
Maori Island, Te Hora, Waikawa, Mangamaunu, Rapaura Anglican,
Rapaura Methodist, Deep Creek and Manaroa.

Marlborough Express newspaper
The Marlborough Express has a library/archive room with past
newspapers available on either microfilm or hardcopy. Their
office is open business hours at 62-66 Arthur Street, Blenheim.
